The first pile is springs, cables, rollers, sensors and openers, and it's usually a part and an afternoon. The second pile is a new door, which is a measuring job first and an install second, because the opening on an older Stanfield house is rarely the size a catalog assumes. Gates sit in their own pile. A gate has an operator, power out at the road and safety gear buried in the driveway that a garage door never needs.
